Active Youth = Healthy Youth

Prevention is best done at a young age to teach skills and support development before they are exposed or invited to try alcohol and other drugs.

‘SUP Medway, with the support of community partners, runs two programs for middle school-aged youth.

Every Week | 2:00-3:10
Medway Middle School

HYPE is an afterschool youth program for 5th-8th graders at Medway Middle. Our goals are to build leadership skills, educate students on topics related to health and wellness, and inspire them to promote a healthy school culture.

Making learning fun is our mission and we strive to achieve this through fun games and activities, providing nutritious snacks, and even having guest speakers!

Our group meets once a week on Thursdays, right after school until 3:10. We are always so happy to see new faces!

Our HYPE students are currently working together on a video that describes HYPE, and spotlights students’ favorite ways to stay healthy. We are so happy to see our students harnessing their creative talents, while learning about how to share health messages with their peers.

Friday Night Done Right

Monthly Events for Medway Kids
Grades 5 – 8

Friday Night Done Right is a FREE monthly program for Medway residents or students in grades 5-8. Our goal is to foster an environment where youth build friendships, connect with role models, and discover new interests with our rotating activities. Friday Night Done Right is a practical way of demonstrating to students how to have fun without the use of substances like alcohol and nicotine.

The Friday Night Done Right program would not be possible without dedicated volunteers, both adults and high school students, to chaperone.
